TFCM negotiated a national deal with BT to supply video production packages to its BT Tradespace user base. This totals over 300,000 UK SME's.
Early on in the negotiations it became clear that SME's would require a full website and more crucially video tutorials, example video's etc to communicate the benefits of video, pricing, process etc.
We considered offline DVD packs with brochures but decided on building a full wesbite utilisng substantial (bespoke to this site) video clips.
The site has extensive video -
There are 6 different video guides "go to quickstart guide" and click on "Video Guide" - these use a local actor and were shot blue screen.
There are also extensive client examples - go top packages pages... etc
We worked with Fusebox on the design and build and also extensively with Tradespace (as we do with all video production clients) to make sure we got the tone of the site and video clips right for the target market.
TFCM produce online video and Web TV for numerous organisations and our video work for the NHS, Yorkshire Forward and Imperial Tobacco amonsgt other has all moved online in some capacity over the last 2 years.
Huge challenges;
1) Dealing with a large client (BT)
2) A very shortened build process (we had 4 weeks from spec agreed to go live)
The outcomes have been fantastic;
BT Tradespace have decided to make this one of their key offererings for 2009 to their customer base - with TFCM providing all the video rpoduction, customer service etc.
BT Tradespace will be extensively promoting this service in Q1 2009.
