Terms and Conditions of Entry
These are the terms and conditions that relate to entering the Awards. To read the North East Digital Awards website Terms and Conditions click here.

All businesses entering the North East Digital Awards must be based in the North East of England - Northumberland; Tyne and Wear; County Durham; or Tees Valley.
- The awards are open to all businesses: Small, medium or large; Sole trader, partnerships, limited companies; Public and private sector.
- You may enter one or more of the categories but each entry must be about a different project, product or solution.
- All products and services must have been available in the UK after within the calendar year January to December 2008.
- Projects and campaigns must have run between March 2008 and March 2009.
- All entries must be submitted via www.northeastdigitalawards08.co.uk. No email or post correspondence will be accepted.
- All material submitted via www.northeastdigitalawards08.co.uk will be displayed via the website. Supplementary material can be submitted and, if requested, will remain strictly confidential to the judges.
- The North East Digital Awards Team reserve the right to use descriptions of submissions from winners and finalists in publications and press releases in connection with the Awards.
- Entrants are responsible to promote their own entries and generate votes.
- Entries that achieve the most votes will be shortlisted.
- Shortlisted entries will then be submitted for the judges consideration.
- The judges reserve the right to amend category selections where appropriate.
- The judges reserve the right not to select a winner in categories in which they feel all shortlisted entries are of questionable quality or credibility.
- The judges' decision is final in all cases.
- Short-listed companies will be notified in advance of the presentation of awards.
- The winner of each category will be announced at the presentation of the awards; under no circumstances will winners' details be disclosed before that time.
- No correspondence regarding the judges' decisions will be entered into.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Entries must arrive by the entry deadline of 27 February 2009.
- Online voting will close on 6 March 2009.
- Voting is limited to one vote per category. To ensure fairness we store both your Awards ID (if you're a registered user) and your IP address.
