Established in 2007, The North East Digital Awards celebrate the excellence of the growing digital industry in the North East of England showcasing the best of the region's digital talent.
Digital Users – for businesses using digital technology - from blogging and podcasting to eCommerce and website development.
Digital Suppliers – for businesses providing digital solutions or designing digital campaigns or websites for clients.
Digital Innovators – for businesses creating and developing new digital technology, pushing the boundaries and leading the way.
These three groups each have a number of awards categories that North East businesses can enter. Click here to browse all categories.
Each category will have one winner who will then also be considered for the overall group winner as either Digital User, Digital Supplier or Digital Innovator.
Deadline for entries for the North East Digital Awards 2008 is 27 February 2009
Deadline for online voting is 6 March
Short listing, based on the number of online votes, will take place week commencing 9 March
Judges will decide the winners week commencing 16 March
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 25 March
In true digital style, all submissions for the Awards will be done online via this page. Once you have submitted your entry you can tweak it and add information at any time. You can upload images and link to your own website. However, we urge you to follow our guide to completing your entry to ensure that it reflects your business and achievements in the best possible light. Ultimately it will be the judges’ decision so you need to make sure it is clear and easy to understand.
All votes are cast via the website and it is your responsibility to encourage your contacts to vote for you and spread the word.
The website also acts as a community forum and anyone who registers with the site can post comments about award submissions.

The Awards are organised by The North East Regional Portal (TNERP) which is a fully-owned subsidiary company of regional development agency One NorthEast.
